The Certification Program is a 17 day course divided into four sessions with one session per month. All of the sessions will be held on the UND campus. Fall 2009
September 14 - 18 Knowledge and Skills in Child Welfare Practice & CPS assessments October 12 -16 Strengths Based Planning/Wraparound Certification November 16 - 19 Legal Considerations in Child Welfare December 7 - 11 Developing Skills in the Placement of Children Spring 2010
January 25 - 29 Knowledge and Skills in Child Welfare Practice & CPS assessments February 22 - 26 Strengths Based Planning/Wraparound Certification March 22 - 25 Legal Considerations in Child Welfare April 19 - 23 Developing Skills in the Placement of Children Registration
You must register for the entire training cycle/session. Please
register early because group size is limited to 25 (click here to register online for the training). Registrants
will receive more detailed information prior to the training.
NOTE: If a session is full, preference will be given to county social service social workers with two years or less experience. For further information, contact the UND Children & Family Services Training Center at 701-777-3442 or FAX 701-777-0789. Attendance/Absences
Attendance is required for the entire training program. If a trainee is absent, she/he will need to make arrangements with CFSTC to complete the work for that day(s) and reschedule to meet attendance requirements. |
